Its software products include sensor fusion, context awareness, pedometer, location tracking, indoor navigation/Pedestrian Dead Reckoning, and patentable algorithms to calibrate sensors to enable world-class consumer and industrial electronics. Meet CloudNav‘s leadership team

Drake Margiotta
Drake earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. Previously, he held executive roles at Marvell, InvenSense and Kionix. At Marvell, he worked closely with many Tier 1 OEMSs including Apple, HP, Netgear, and Foundry Networks to bring products to market including adding WiFi to the first iPhone and jointly developing Apple’s TimeCapsule. At Kionix, he formulated the Idea for and Strategized Building of the First “Magnetic Gyroscope”.

Kevin Powell
Kevin studied at the School of Engineering at University of Colorado at Boulder. His previous work experience included working at Kionix where he helped Deploy Sensor Solutions on Tablet and Phone Platforms. In addition, his accomplishments include the Development of a MPL Library at InvenSense. Mr. Powell also was employed by Sirf where he was responsible for their Ultra Low Power GPS Implementations.

Erik Anderson
Erik earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University. He currently has been issued 11 U.S. Patents for Inventions in Navigation, Sensor Fusion, and Audio Processing. In addition, he has 4 pending.
Mr. Anderson previously worked at Kionix where he invented a Full Suite of Auto Calibration and Synthetic Sensor Algorithms. The product Won Best of Show Award at Sensor Expo 2013. He also worked at Invensense where he was responsible for their Motion Processing Software that Shipped with +100 Million MEMS Devices. Prior to Invensense, Erik lead a team developing High Volume GPS Products at Sirf.
